How Much Does SEO Cost in Dubai? Prices, Packages and What You Get
By the PNext team in the UAE · Updated 18 October 2026
Ask five agencies in Dubai what SEO costs and you will get five very different numbers. Some quote AED 1,500 a month, others AED 15,000, and a few will not give you a figure until they have seen your website.
None of them is necessarily wrong. SEO is priced on the amount of work it takes to overtake the pages already ranking for the searches you care about, and that varies hugely from one business to the next.
This guide sets out the price ranges agencies in Dubai publish, what actually pushes a quote up or down, and the questions that tell you whether a cheap quote is a bargain or a warning sign.

How much does SEO cost in Dubai?
Most businesses in Dubai pay between AED 3,000 and AED 8,000 a month for ongoing SEO. Local SEO for one location can start around AED 1,500 to 3,500, while competitive sectors such as legal, medical and real estate often run from AED 15,000 a month upwards. The right price depends on your site, your competitors and how fast you want to grow.
Typical SEO prices in Dubai in 2026
There is no official price list for SEO in the UAE, so the best guide is what agencies publish themselves. We read the current pricing guides from several Dubai agencies and they broadly agree on the middle of the market, even if they differ at the top end.
| Type of SEO work | Typical monthly price | Usually suits |
|---|---|---|
| Local SEO, one location | AED 1,500 to 3,500 | Clinics, salons, restaurants, trades |
| SME retainer | AED 3,000 to 8,000 | Most service businesses and smaller online stores |
| B2B services firm | AED 4,000 to 15,000 | Consultancies, tech and professional services |
| Highly competitive sectors | AED 15,000 to 40,000+ | Legal, medical, real estate, finance |
| One-off SEO audit | Fixed fee, usually quoted after a first look | Teams with in-house writers or developers |
Sources for these ranges include published guides from Global Media Insight, Prism and Kolonell. Bear in mind that agencies write these guides partly to sell their own packages, so treat them as a rough map rather than a rule.
Some agencies also charge a one-off setup fee for the first audit and technical fixes. Published figures for that range from about AED 2,000 to AED 12,000. If a quote includes one, ask exactly what it pays for.
What makes one SEO quote higher than another
Two businesses can ask for “SEO” and need completely different amounts of work. These are the factors that move the price most.
How competitive your searches are
Our own Ahrefs data shows “seo agency dubai” with a keyword difficulty of 62 and “digital marketing agency dubai” at 68. A phrase like “local seo dubai” sits at 1. The harder the phrase, the more content and links it takes to reach page one.
The state of your website
A clean 20-page site needs far less work than a store with thousands of product pages, slow templates and years of broken redirects.
English, Arabic or both
If your buyers search in Arabic, you need proper Arabic pages, not a machine translation. That roughly doubles the content work, and good quotes say so up front.
How many locations or countries
One branch in Business Bay is a different job from ten branches across the Emirates, or a site that also targets Saudi Arabia.
Content and links per month
The number of new pages and the amount of outreach each month is usually the single biggest line in the fee.
How quickly you want results
Doing six months of work in three costs more. Sometimes that is worth it, for example before a launch.
It also helps to know what a click is worth in your market. In our keyword data, an advertiser pays about $8 (around AED 29) per click on Google Ads for “seo agency dubai” and about $12 (around AED 44) for “local seo dubai”. Ranking for those terms organically saves that money on every visit, which is why SEO budgets in competitive sectors climb so quickly.
What a fair SEO package in Dubai should include
Whatever the price, a monthly SEO retainer should cover the work that actually moves rankings. If any of these are missing, ask why.
- An audit before the plan. Crawl errors, speed, duplicate pages and indexing problems found and ranked by impact. Our technical SEO audit is a good example of the scope.
- A written keyword and page plan. Which searches you target, and which page on your site is meant to rank for each one.
- Technical fixes. Done by the agency or briefed clearly to your developers, with a list of what changed.
- Content. New service pages, location pages and guides written for UAE buyers, and improvements to the pages you already have.
- Local SEO. Your Google Business Profile, reviews and directory listings, if you serve customers in person. See our local SEO services in Dubai.
- Links from relevant sites. UAE directories, partners, PR and industry sites, never bulk link packages.
- Monthly reporting on leads. Enquiries and traffic to the pages that sell, not only rankings.
More and more, a package should also cover AI search: how often Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT mention your business. Our own keyword data shows AI Overviews on most of the Dubai SEO searches we track. If that matters to you, look for an AI SEO agency in Dubai that measures it.
Red flags in cheap SEO quotes
A low price is not a problem in itself. A low price with these signs usually is.
- “Guaranteed first page in 30 days.” Nobody controls Google. Agencies that promise this often rank you for phrases nobody searches.
- A fixed number of backlinks per month. “50 links for AED 999” almost always means low-quality sites that can earn you a penalty.
- No access to your own data. You should own your Google Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile, not the agency.
- A package quoted before anyone looked at your site. That is a list of tasks, not a plan.
- Reports full of rankings and nothing about enquiries.
- A 12-month lock-in with no exit. Long terms can be fair, but you should have a notice option after the first six months.
We are not neutral here, of course. But it is worth saying that when we audited our own website this month, the most damaging problems were not exotic. 77 of our 79 pages had two H1 tags because of a hidden theme title, and a few contact forms looked fine but had never sent an enquiry. Cheap SEO tends to skip exactly this kind of checking.
How to compare SEO proposals
Put the quotes you receive into a simple table and compare them on the same lines. The cheapest quote often turns out to include half the work.
| Ask each agency | A good answer looks like |
|---|---|
| What will you do in the first 90 days? | Specific tasks with rough dates |
| Which pages and searches will you target? | A list, tied to your services |
| How many pages of content per month? | A number, plus who writes and edits it |
| Where will links come from? | Types of sites, with examples |
| What does the monthly report show? | Enquiries, traffic to money pages, rankings |
| What happens if we stop? | You keep the content, accounts and data |
If you want a second opinion on a quote you already have, our SEO services in Dubai page explains how we scope work, and we are happy to look at another agency’s proposal and tell you honestly whether it looks fair.
If you need enquiries while SEO builds up, paid search can fill the gap. Our Google Ads agency in Dubai team often runs both side by side for the first few months, and as a digital marketing agency in Dubai we would rather tell you which channel to start with than sell you everything at once.
And if you are still deciding between SEO and paid search, our guide to Google Ads costs in Dubai covers the other side of the budget, while how to choose a digital marketing agency in Dubai covers the questions to ask before you sign anything.

Most small and medium businesses pay roughly AED 3,000 to 8,000 a month. Local SEO for a single location can start around AED 1,500, and competitive sectors such as legal or real estate often cost AED 15,000 a month or more.
Because the work varies. The difficulty of your keywords, the size and condition of your website, whether you need Arabic content, and how many locations you serve all change how much work is needed each month.
Sometimes, if the scope is small and honest, such as basic local SEO for one shop. Be careful with cheap packages that promise guaranteed rankings or a fixed number of backlinks, as they can do more harm than good.
Technical fixes and title changes can help within weeks. Steady growth in traffic and enquiries usually takes three to six months, and longer for very competitive searches.
If your customers search in Arabic, yes. Proper Arabic pages can reach searches your English pages never will. Give each language its own URL and connect them with hreflang tags.
Over time, often yes, because you do not pay per click. Ads are faster, though. Many businesses run both: ads for leads now, SEO for lower-cost leads later.
